ELIO
Wide open and receptive to the possibilities of the world around her, LA-based ELIO is proving herself a boundary-less creative talent to be reckoned with.
ELIO began writing songs when she moved to Canada from Wales, teaching herself to write, record and produce her own music. A fierce statement of intent, her debut EP ‘u and me, but mostly me’ arrived in the midst of the pandemic summer of 2020 as an astute snapshot of her universe as an artist and as a young woman; moving, growing, and learning, trying to keep up with the ever-changing world around her. Since her debut, ELIO has amassed over 300M streams, and found fans in outlets like i-D, Vogue, The FADER, NME, The Guardian, NYLON, PAPER, Clash, and Line of Best Fit. Alongside streaming and radio support from Spotify, Apple Music, and Zane Lowe, Radio 1, and CBC Radio.
ELIO has since collaborated with Charli xcx, Tobias Jesso Jr., Rostam, The Chainsmokers, Ian Kirkpatrick, Emily Warren, and J Kash, among other notable talents. She has toured in the US and internationally with sold out headline shows in London, New York, Chicago, Toronto, and LA, and opened shows for Charli Xcx and Chase Atlantic, and contributed to TXT’s “We Lost the Summer,” further establishing her as a multidimensional talent whose impact extends far beyond her own records.
